On June 20, 2008, the Red Poppy Art House celebrated Marcus Shelby’s original trio by playing host to a reunion performance with Marcus on Bass, Matt Clark on piano, and Jaz Sawyer on drums. Joining them was the powerhouse tenor saxist Howard Wiley along with special guest Geechi Taylor on Trumpet.
