Jazz at Intersection and the de Young Museum have joined together for the third year to present a series of outstanding outdoor jazz performances. For this post, I created an audio slideshow* of one of those spectacular shows performed by the talented musicians of the Richard Howell Quintet on Sunday, September 14, 2008. Enjoy!

My friends in John Brown’s Body came through San Francisco a few weeks back in support of their new album Amplify, which just debuted at number one on Billboard’s Reggae Charts. I had intimate access that allowed me to create this spectacular multimedia piece of the band playing Speak of the Devil live at the Great American Music Hall on September 27, 2008. This show was a blast, good times for sure, and huge props to these guys for rolling with a brass section!

Here’s a post covering Spoon’s first night of their recent three-night residency at the Fillmore West on September 22, 2008. It was a hell of an opener for a three-night run, and I heard the next two nights only got better.
